Franziska Heusser

(*1945) has worked as a primary school and music teacher (basic musical education, recorder) until retirement. She was a member of Sonne Schweiz (1994-1999) and helped organize the annual Sun Festivals (Sonnenlandgemeinden) to promote solar energy in Switzerland. She created the video "Living with the Sun" in 1996. Since 2000, she has been involved on the Swiss side in the logistics and procurement of high-quality solar material for projects in Burkina Faso. She founded the company Solafrique in September 2014.

Finances

Pierre Gaudin

was born 1958 in Zurich. He worked for around 20 years as an asset manager at major Swiss banks. He then worked in field service for 6 years. Since 2010 he has been an independent, private caregiver for the elderly (contact). He has been living with his Moroccan partner for ten years, who introduced him to African culture. That's why he's been happy to take on here the task of "finance" since 2022. He lives in Pfaffhausen. contact

Actuary

Raymond F. Peck

was born on the Isle of Wight, England, has both English and Swiss citizenship, and has been working for over 30 years at major Swiss banks in the foreign exchange sector. He has travelled extensively and become acquainted with most of the world’s cultures. This also aroused his interest in leading a more environmentally friendly and conscious life.
In 1998 he founded his own book publishing company, Blue River, and he has authored various philosophical books. He is co-founder of the NovaTerra project and originator of the NovaTerra-Chain, a platform for the global networking of alternative communities. His dedication to improved living conditions in Africa has motivated him to work as an actuary for the "notre soleil suisse" association.

Insaf Mteraf

 *1981 in Morocco, she grew up in Belgium and now has been living in Switzerland for 9 years. She is fluent in German, French, Spanish, English and Arabic. She is trained in communication sciences and currently works in human resources. She feels a special obligation to the African continent. She hopes to support notre soleil suisse where it is most useful.

Benjamin Olschner

*1977, works as an architect and designer in Switzerland and internationally. Since being in touch with the Notre Soleil Suisse association, he has been focused his interest on African countries and cultures and on opportunities for cultural exchange in the areas of education and infrastructure.
